IMPORTANT: GRADE LEVEL IS BASED ON STUDENT’S GRADE IN FALL OF 2026.
If they are currently in 1st grade, you will sign up for 2nd grade.
Overview
Morning Programs at (2026 Locations are TBD)
Join us in the morning for our grade level-based program taught by PVPUSD elementary teachers and stay for the afternoon! Students entering TK through fifth grade in August of 2026 will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive summer school experience offered at both Elementary School #1 and Elementary School #2. Classes are organized by grade level and taught by highly qualified PVPUSD teachers. The theme for Summer 2026 is “TBD”. Instruction will include review, reinforcement and a preview of the curriculum to be covered during the ensuing school. A wide variety of “hands-on” strategies and techniques designed to supercharge the learning environment will be utilized while covering reading, writing, mathematics, science, the arts and beyond. Our program is designed to offer a small teacher/student ratio to ensure individual attention at each grade level. Read on to learn about our afternoon programs.

All PVPSS sites have administrative staff that have been trained in first aid and CPR. In addition, we have support from the PVPUSD summer school nurse. All students with individualize medical needs will have a plan in place that the family and site staff agree to prior to the first day of summer school. Once your student is registered, we will reach out to schedule a meeting.
