Summer Elementary School Information
Overview
Students entering TK through fifth grade in August of 2024 will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive summer school experience offered on the Cornerstone and Dapplegray elementary school campuses. This fee based program begins on June 17th and will extend through July 12th. “Making Learning Fun” will serve as the primary focus of our program. Classes will be organized by grade level and taught by highly qualified teachers representing the finest of the ten elementary campuses. Instruction will include review, reinforcement and a preview of the curriculum to be covered during the ensuing school. A wide variety of “hands-on” strategies and techniques designed to supercharge the learning environment will be utilized while covering reading, writing, mathematics, science , the arts and beyond. In order to provide the best possible educational experience for each student, we maintain a small teacher/student ratio to ensure individual attention at each grade level.
Dates
Summer Elementary School will take place Monday – Friday, June 17 – July 12, 2024.
(Please note that there will be no school on Wednesday June 19th, Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th)
Summer Elementary School Registration Dates
Registration opens Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 @ 5:00 pm and closes June 2, 2023 @ 5:00 pm.
Daily Schedule
8:15 am – 8:30 am Student Arrival
8:30 am – 10:10 am Classroom Instruction
10:10 am – 10:30 am Recess and bathroom break (Grades 1st – 5th)
10:35 am – 10:55 am Recess and bathroom break (TK/Kindergarten)
10:30 am – 12:00 pm Classroom Instruction
12:00 pm – 12:15 pm Dismissal at parking lot only
Morning and afternoon extended care will be available at our Dapplegray campus through Kids Corner. Cornerstone will be offering Enrichment classes in the afternoon. Please see below for more details.
Tuition
Tuition for Summer Elementary School is $675 for the four-week program.

BEFORE & AFTER ELEMENTARY SUMMER SCHOOL CARE
PV Kids’ Corner at Dapplegray Campus
PV Kids’ Corner will offer Before and After-School Care to students attending Summer Elementary 2024 at Dapplegray Elementary School. Parents enjoy the safety and convenience of children remaining on campus before and after summer school. The program is available for the full 4-week session.

Full-Time Program Hours 7:00am-8:30am Class Time AND 12:00pm Dismissal to 6:00pm
