Summer High School

Summer High School 2017 will be located at Palos Verdes High School (Cloyden Rd., PVE).
Our program is based in most cases on the courses offered by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District during the academic school year, and are taught by certificated high school teachers using the same texts and materials used during the regular year. These courses are academically rigorous and are recommended for students who are motivated. Almost all courses are offered for academic credit and most credits are accepted by surrounding school districts as well as the PVPUSD (please check with your counselor to verify credit). 2017 tuition for year-long courses is $620; Semester courses are $310. Lab Fees are $60/year or $30/semester, where appropriate.
Courses are offered in Math, English, Science, History, and a variety of elective subjects. Courses may be taken for new credit, subject to some restrictions and prerequisites, or for make-up and review to improve an existing grade. Please click on the tab above for a complete listing of the courses offered.
Also, courses appropriate for incoming 9th grade students can be found on the “9th Grade Courses” tab, if you hover over the Summer Programs/High School tab at the top.
