Summer High School 2018 will be located at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (27118 Silver Spur Road, RHE, 90274).
Our program is based on the courses offered by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District during the academic school year.  The classes are taught by certificated high school teachers using the same texts and materials used during the regular year. These courses are academically rigorous and are recommended for students who are motivated. Almost all courses are offered for academic credit and most credits are accepted by surrounding school districts as well as the PVPUSD (please check with your counselor to verify credit). 2018 tuition for year-long courses is $640; Semester courses are $320. Lab Fees are $60/year or $30/semester, where appropriate.
Courses are offered in Math, English, Science, History, and a variety of elective subjects. Courses may be taken for new credit, subject to some restrictions and prerequisites, or for make-up and review to improve an existing grade. The online registration portal opens beginning at 7 p.m. for each grade level, and the date is determined by grade level in Fall 2018, as follows:
Seniors – Tuesday, March 27
Juniors – Wednesday, March 28
Sophomores – Thursday, March 29
Freshmen – Monday, April 16
Temp ID/Out of District – Wednesday, April 18 (must apply for ID, see forms section)

Registration will remain active through Saturday, June 9 at 3:00 p.m.

Please note: Summer High School has a strict attendance policy. One absence only is allowed for semester courses; two absences for year-long courses. There are no exceptions whatsoever to this policy (teachers do not have discretion) so please do not enroll in these courses if you have doubts about full compliance with this policy.
